On August 9, the White Houselaunched the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cyber Challenge(AIxCC), a two-year competition designed to identify andfix software vulnerabilities using AI. As described in aWhite House Fact Sheet, this competition will be madeup of teams attempting to create new technologies toimprove the security of computer code, among otherthings. This will include collaboration with several top AIcompanies like Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, andOpenAI.
