General Counsel
John Brosnan is the General Counsel of 1031 AES, LLC. In his role as General Counsel, John supports the operations of the business and serves as a resource for 1031 AES clients and their advisors. Since becoming an admitted attorney in 2013, John has represented clients in a wide range of real estate related matters including representing clients in all phases of residential and commercial real estate transactions, asset purchases, leases, and the execution of 1031 exchanges. John has also represented both institutional and private lenders in real estate transactions.
In addition to his position at 1031 AES, John is a partner at Jared Beschel & Associates, PC where he represents clients in all real estate related matters and represents the Village of Farmingdale as a prosecutor where he has been a resident for over 30 years. John’s legal experience also includes criminal defense, traffic violations, and estate planning.
John is a graduate of Binghamton University, where he received a B.A. in History in 2010. John then graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where he was an Articles Editor for the Labor and Employment Law Journal. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the Eastern District for the State of New York.
